How to create a New Product on iedi.online

This guide explains how to create a new product on iedi.online.

  1. Click on "create product" directly from the dashboard or find the same menu item under "Products" in the menu bar.
    1. If you have created a product group, you can select it. To create a product group, find “Products” in the menu bar, click “View Product groups” and click on the blue " + New" button in the upper right corner .
    2. Basic information: Next, you can add a product name and description.
  2. Prices and fees:
    1. Enter the sales price per unit, select the quantity per unit and choose unitcode, e.g. "PCS".
    2. If you need to register your product in the colli unit, this is also possible here.
    3. You can enter your tax rate, e.g. VAT 25%, or tick the “Excempt from Tax” if this is the case.
  3. Product Classification:
    Here you can enter your UNSPSC code.
  4. External References:
    1. Here you can insert a link to an image of the product as well as a link to the product's product page so that the recipient has the opportunity to read more about the product. For example, these links may come from your webshop.
    2. If you do not have a link to a product page, we recommend that you fill in the "Product description" field under "Basic information".
  5. Product numbers:
    1. Here you can enter the seller's product number
    2. You also have the option to enter an EAN-13 or EAN-14 product number
    3. Also enter a business product number, e.g. Plumbering number, Woodsupply number. etc.
  6. Stock information:
    1. Enter the number of products you have in stock. Actual stock quantity is the physical summary of stock for this product across all stock locations.
    2. Also indicate how many of these products you still have in stock that have already been sold or reserved.
    3. If you also enter a minimum quantity, which is the desired number of products you want in stock, iEDI has the opportunity to notify you when you hit your minimum stock.
    4. You also have the option of specifying the number of delivery days - from a customer has ordered a prouct to the customer has received the product. For day-to-day delivery, simply enter “1” in the input field.
  7. Supplier information:
    Here you can enter the name of the supplier, the supplier's product number and purchase price.
  8. Click the green "save" button to create the item in your catalog.
